How this website handles your information
This site uses quote-form information to prepare the quote, reply and keep a delivery record.
What the quote form collects
The quote form on this site asks for your name, phone number, email address, your vehicle, and whatever you type in the message box. It also records which page you sent the form from, and which button opened it, so we know what you were reading when you got in touch. Those are the only fields. We ask for them so we can quote your vehicle and call you back, and we never sell them on.
Where it goes
A submission is emailed to Upstate Auto Detailing and stored in the business's customer records so the job can be quoted, scheduled and followed up. A copy is kept in a log on the web server, which is how we check that the form is actually delivering. Nothing you send through the form is sold, rented, or passed to anyone outside the business and the people who run its website and marketing.
How long it is kept
Enquiries are kept as customer records for as long as the business has a reason to keep them, such as a quote you may come back to, a coating with a warranty on it, or a job history. If you want your enquiry deleted, call (518) 363-6812 or email the shop and ask. We will remove it.
Cookies and tracking
This site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people use. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser, and Google receives the address of each page you view, basic browser and device details, and an approximate location worked out from your IP address. We use those reports to understand how the site is used. The site sets no advertising cookies of its own. It loads fonts from Google Fonts and embeds Google Maps on the contact and service-area pages; both are served by Google, and Google receives the request your browser makes for them. Following a link out to our Google Business Profile, Facebook or Instagram takes you onto those companies' own services, under their own terms.
Calls and texts
If you call or text (518) 363-6812, or give us your number on the form, we use it to answer you about your vehicle. We do not add you to a marketing list you did not ask for.
Children
This is a vehicle detailing business. The site is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.
