Who we are
Transform your vehicle inside-out
Two technicians do the detailing, at the 40 North St shop and in your driveway.
Most cars come in with two problems at once. The paint is full of fine wash scratches in the clear coat that make the color look flat, and the interior has a winter of road salt in the carpets, usually with dog hair worked into the seats.
Paint gets decontaminated and machine polished until the defects are gone. Interiors get extracted, since that's the only thing that reaches salt down in the carpet backing.

How much does auto detailing cost?
It depends on the vehicle and its condition, so we quote after seeing it. As a guide, a full detail generally runs $475-$650 and ceramic coating $900-$1,550 or more depending on the correction needed.
Is it worth paying for car detailing?
Usually, and around here the interior is where you see it most. Winter salt sits down in the carpet backing where a vacuum can't reach, and extraction pulls it out. On the paint, protecting a finish costs far less than bringing a neglected one back later.
What time of year should I get my car detailed?
Late fall, before the roads get treated, is when protection should go on. Sealing a finish over salt that's already embedded locks the problem in. Through the salt months it's the inside that needs us, and between December and April salt in the carpets is one of the most common jobs we do.
