Where the scratches on Albany cars come from
Most of what we correct anywhere is wash damage, the fine circular scratches from brush-type automatic washes and dirty mitts that show up as a haze in direct sun. Albany adds a couple of its own. Cars here spend the day parked on the street or in decks, where door edges and panel sides pick up marks, and stop-start city driving makes far more brake dust than open-road miles.
